Kazim Gulamali
FIDE (FM) Master – (Current Chess Rating: USCF: 2423 FIDE: 2367)

K azim Gulamali is a chess master now ranked by FIDE as the 95th highest rated player in the United States and is arguably the highest rated player living in the state of Georgia. Kazim has played chess since he was 3 and was winning statewide tournaments by at age 12. At 16 Kazim had already become a National Master. His big break came in the 2006 world open when he won 1st place  in the Under 2300 section of the prestigious “World Chess tournament” winning over $6,400. By age 19 he had already received his FIDE (FM) master title.

Kazim has over 5 years of teaching experience. Over the past few years Kazim has taken an increased interest in teaching and has been an instructor at many programs and institutions, as well as private and internet tutoring. Kazim’s teaching style places an increased emphasis on middle game strategy, which he believes is key to advancing as a good chess player. Kazim also puts a heavy focus on the study of world chess champions.

Federico Lupis
Current Chess Rating: USCF: 1829 FIDE: 1927

F ederico Lupis has played in oficial chess tournaments for the last 10 years. Federico has given private lessons since 2004. He also taught chess to primary school students in Argentina at “Jean Piaget” in 2006 and at “Peña del Colorado” in 2008. Federico has been a pupil of both IM Fabián Fiorito and IM Nahuel Diaz Hollemaert. Federico really enjoys making chess fun. He particularly specializes in teaching chess to children and has a patient and fun approach to his lessons.

Martin Gerschenfeld

Martin Gerschenfeld

M artin Gerschenfeld’s intrigue for chess started when he was living in Israel and got absorbed into the country’s fascination with chess. Shortly after he began taking classes and quickly moved up to become a 2000+ level by the time he was only 15. After moving to Argentina in 2006 he’s ranked in the top 5 in many professional chess tournaments.

Martin has taught chess at high schools in both Israel and Argentina. He has been a private tutor for over 3 years and enjoys teaching chess as much as he enjoys playing it. One of his most recent students gained over 200 FIDE points in only 3 months of training.
